Known for her unconventional painting approach, Jan uses vibrant acrylic pigments like a watercolorist, painting in translucent yet bold colors.  Life in the west is the subject of much of Jan's work, and her upbeat free-flowing horses and bold images of cowboys at work depict the genuine west.
